Winning Entries will be featured in FUN’s 2026 calendar

Are you ready to showcase your creativity this summer? Whether you’re an artist, a crafter, a photographer, or simply someone who loves to express themselves, we’ve got an exciting opportunity for you! Families United Network invites all children and youth, ages 0-21, to take part in our Kids-Only Summer Art Contest and show us the unique ways you see the world.

Theme

My Summer Superpower

We’re calling on participants to create one captivating piece of original artwork that brings the theme “My Summer Superpower” to life. What do you envision your summer superpower to be? Share your imagination with us through art!

How to Participate

This contest is open to children and youth ages 0-21 with a current or past connection to Families United Network. This includes individuals involved in foster care, adoption, residential care, peer services, or children of FUN staff or affiliated families.

Here are the participation instructions:

• Create an original piece of artwork no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches that represents the contest theme.

• Submit your artwork along with a completed application and release form.

Submission Details

All submissions must be received by August 31, 2025. You can submit your artwork in one of the following ways:

• Hand it directly to any FUN employee.

• Mail it to:

Voting Process

Submissions will be grouped into four age brackets for fair voting:

• Ages 0-4

• Ages 5-9

• Ages 10-15

• Ages 16-21

During September, Families United Network’s Board of Directors will review all the artwork and vote based on theme relevance, creativity, originality, and overall impression.

Results and Prizes

Winners will be announced by October 1, 2025, on FUN’s website and social media platforms. Each age group winner will receive a prize, and their artwork will be featured in FUN’s 2026 calendar—a perfect way to share your talent with others!
