How You Can Support a Mother-to-Be in Harrisburg
Welcoming a baby is a special time, but some moms face overwhelming challenges that
most of us take for granted. Without family or financial support, many women go through
this journey alone. Still, their love and determination to bring their baby into the world
inspire us
Partnering for a Brighter Future
We’re excited to work with Catholic Charities of Harrisburg to adopt a room at the
Lourdeshouse Maternity Home. Our goal is to transform this space into a warm,
welcoming haven where new moms can rest, recover, and feel deeply cared for. Because
this specific room will be home to two women and their babies at the same time, we are
collecting two of every essential item to make sure both families are fully supported. This
project belongs to our entire community, and we are so grateful for your generous help to
make it happen.
Creating a Place of Hope and Care
A room feels like home when filled with care and support. Every donation, volunteer hour,
and shared message shows a mother, “You’re not alone. We’re here for you.” These small
acts of kindness can truly change lives for mothers and their babies.
